In a different world. . . the Charmed destiny splits. In another world, the mirror universe, the Charmed Ones are on the side of darkness. In the world we know the Charmed Ones lose a sister, and gain one, reconstituting their power and fighting some of the darkest threats. This, is a different world.
It is said the Charmed Ones will one day be born from the Rowntree line. This information is no secret and for generations the Source and evil works to convert the line of witches, finally succeeding. The Elders, worried now that the Charmed Ones will be born into an evil line of witches go to the Angel of Destiny to have it changed. Now the Blackwood line is the one with the destiny. But not everything can so simply be changed. The powerful Charmed Ones are born, to both lines. Magic is split. As magic itself is neither good nor evil the destiny could not be taken from the Rowntrees. Only shared. But the Source is aware of this and will make sure that he has a hand in this destiny either way. One of the children is switched at birth. Late at night in the hospital a demon goes into the nursery and switches the Rowntree and Blackwood child. Both are Charmed, so it doesn't not stop either family from fulfilling their destiny as the Power of Three.
The Blackwood children like the Rowntrees, are adults now, on their own. Both struggling with their powers, their destinies, and unaware of the battles ahead. Or of each other.
Based on the series Charmed, it is a separate universe that takes place in what would be the first and second season. The world is wide open, help shape it.
